Privacy & Cookie Policy
This page explains what data AmberPin Media collects when you visit this website or get in touch, why, and what cookies are used. It is written in plain language wherever possible. If anything is unclear, email gintare@amberpinmedia.com and we will explain.
1. Who is responsible for your data
AmberPin Media is operated by Gintarė Petrauskienė, trading as an individual business (individuali veikla) registered in Lithuania, certificate number 1213946, registered address Kazlų Rūdos sav., Lithuania. For any privacy question, contact gintare@amberpinmedia.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect data in two ways:
- When you use the contact form: name, email address, website address, Pinterest handle (if provided), and the message you write.
- When you book a call: Google Calendar handles the booking directly on Google's own platform - see their privacy policy. We only see the booking details you choose to share (name, email, and whatever you write in the booking form).
We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes (for example, adding Pinterest Tag or Google Analytics), this section will be updated first, and those tools will only run after you accept them in the cookie banner - see Section 5.
3. Why we collect it and our legal basis
Contact form data is collected to respond to your enquiry - this is based on our legitimate interest in answering questions about our services, and, where a contract follows, on the performance of that contract. We do not use your contact details for marketing unless you separately agree to that.
4. Who else sees your data
We use a small number of outside services to run this site and respond to you:
- Web3Forms - delivers contact form submissions to our inbox by email. Web3Forms processes the submitted data briefly to relay it and states it does not store form content long-term; see their own privacy documentation for details.
- Google Calendar - handles call bookings if you choose to book a call. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
- FlowBoard - our internal contact organiser. It runs locally in our own browser and does not send your data to any external server or third party.
- Our hosting provider - stores the website files and, like any web server, automatically logs basic technical information (such as IP address) for security purposes.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes.
5. Cookies
Cookies (and similar local storage) used on this site:

That is the only thing stored today. Nothing else is set unless you explicitly accept an "Analytics" category in the cookie banner - and right now, there is no analytics category active, because we are not running any analytics or advertising tools yet. When that changes, this table will list exactly what is added, and it will only run after you say yes.
You can change your cookie choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of this site.
6. How long we keep your data
Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up, then deleted. If we do not end up working together, we do not keep your details indefinitely.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data
- Object to or restrict how we use your data
- Ask for your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (VDAI), vdai.lrv.lt, or your own country's data protection authority

8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way - for example, if we start using analytics - we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
